At a time when New World wines are enjoying huge popularity, France has still much to offer. Dispel 'the mystique' of some of France's great wine regions including Bordeaux, Burgundy, and the Rhône. We will also see how the ethos of winemaking in the Languedoc-Roussillon has changed considerably in recent years. Learn about 'terroir' and winemaking trends that contribute to the different styles of wines in these regions. You will be guided through the day with tutored tastings and the emphasis is on discussion and participation.
