Autumn Walk in Charnwood Forest (7-8 miles)

Sunday 24 October

A walk around Charnwood Forest in Leicestershire (Outwoods, Beacon Hill and Woodhouse Eaves) led by Jeff Fry.

Beautiful ancient woodlands, fabulous views from the
Beacon, Autumn colour, native species tree collection, could be a bit muddy/wet in places, some short climbs, mostly off-road and really worth going.

Meet at 10 am, Car Park 4, University Central Campus.

Then meet 11 am at Outwoods free car park – map from Jeff or Kay.

Bring picnic, warm clothes, walking boots/shoes.
