RSC Chemistry Lectures 2005

Lamivudine is one of several nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors indicated for the treatment of HIV/AIDS. This lecture investigates the development of synthesis in the enantioselective route of manufacture, and issues concerning solid state purity of the compound.
