Question Time comes to Warwick

Staff Event: Academics Get the Chance to Meet Graduate Recruiters

On Wednesday 20 July, the Careers Service will be hosting a ‘Question Time’ session with a panel of national graduate recruiters. The panel, which includes Dr Ian Nussey from IBM, Victoria Flack from Accenture, Liz Wrenn from BAE Systems and Sylvia Ellis from Rolls Royce will share their expertise and make the case for increasing student involvement in work experience opportunities. Their responses will be of interest to anyone working with students and who has an interest in their future employability prospects.

The session is open to all academic staff and will provide an opportunity for academic staff to:

  • Discuss current employability issues with HR reps from a range of commercial sectors;
  • Find out about the variety of internship and graduate opportunities available with some of the country’s leading companies;
  • Become better informed in order to guide students more effectively towards securing meaningful opportunities for them.

Please contact Sue Johnstone in Careers on ext: 75725 or susan.johnstone@warwick.ac.uk to confirm your place and to log any questions you wish to put to the panel.
