Illumine training seminar

Seminar: Mental Agility: practical strategies for effective learning

Date: Tuesday 14 March 2006

Time: 10:00-16:00

Venue: Seminar Room, University House

Suitable For:
- Staff with responsibility for the development of students' learning skills, including personal tutors and tutors responsible for induction;
- Staff responsible for module and course development;
- Student support and development advisers

One of the most popular – and most useful – modules offered by the Warwick Skills Programmes in recent years has been ‘Advanced learning skills’, which is broadly based on the Tony Buzan accelerated learning programme. Because students have been so positive about the approach:

"The most useful thing I have learned at university"

"All students should do this.."

"I should have been taught this in the first year"

We would like to offer you the opportunity to work with Illumine training – the Buzan-approved training organisation - to find out how this approach works and how it might improve the thinking skills of your students.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

Places are limited - please book a place by contacting Maria.Rooney@warwick.ac.uk or contact Kay Sanderson for more information.
