The Survivors Trust's 2006 Inaugural Conference, which takes place at Warwick on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 July, aims to bring together Government, Voluntary and Statutory services to explore and understand the social and health support needs of women and men who have experienced sexual violence or childhood sexual abuse in an increasing climate of change for abuse service provision.

Aims of the conference:

• To challenge society’s myths about victims and survivors
• To present up-to-date research on practice and policy issues for working with victims and survivors of sexual violence
• To bring together specialist voluntary sector and statutory sector services working with survivors and victims to explore working in partnership to meet victims’ and survivors’ needs

There is a full and varied programme of specialist workshops and presentations from leading professionals from all sectors including:
