Sarah Doughty is a professional soprano living in the West Midlands and working in the Finance Office at the University. After graduating from the University of Warwick, she went on to train at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama, gaining her Advanced Postgraduate Diploma in Music in 1997.

Her performances of Mozart works and French song have won particular acclaim. Sarah has a lyric soprano voice with a distinctive brightness in the upper register. She sings a diverse range of music which includes well-known operatic and oratorio arias, French and German song and musical theatre numbers.
