The G20 summit - what it could mean for trade

‘Trump’s antics appear to have galvanised many other members of the G20, with the EU and Japan recently reaching an agreement on an FTA (free trade agreement) – while prominent figures in the Mercosur customs union have made increasingly positive noises about their trade negotiations with the EU.

"Meanwhile, the EU has also been gearing up to take retaliatory action should the US enact protectionist measures for the steel industry as has been mooted’.
