UK's warmest year on record predicted

sunny

Physics Professor Sandra Chapman talks about why we can expect the UK's warmest weather for almost 250 years.

'Recent work, including our own, has shown that over the last 60 years there have been changes in the extremes of daily temperatures that can be much larger than the change in the global mean.

'The changes that one sees vary considerably with geographical location. So, the impact of any change depends on both where you live, and what temperatures matter to you.'
