Career Studies Unit comes to University of Warwick

The University of Warwick is the new host of the Career Studies Unit (CSU), which offers a range of postgraduate teaching and scholarship in the field of career development studies.

The CSU transferred to Warwick’s Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) from the University of Reading this month and works closely with the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services (AGCAS) and the National Association of Student Employment Services (NASES).

The Unit offers Postgraduate Certificates, Diplomas and MA courses in Career Education, Information and Guidance in Higher Education and the Management of Student Work Experience. The Management of Student Work Experience MA is a new course that has been developed by the University of Warwick.

Director for the Centre for Lifelong Learning Dr Russell Moseley said: “We are delighted that the work of the Career Studies Unit has been added to the portfolio of CLL’s activities in the broad area of personal and professional development.

“The courses it offers are well established and highly regarded and there is considerable scope for further development alongside existing work in areas such as counselling, advice and guidance, mentoring and teacher training in the learning and skills sector.”
