The UK's Guardian newspaper has today, Tuesday 8th June 2010, ranked the University of Warwick as the top university in the Midlands and 3rd overall in the UK. 

The newspaper also ranked Warwick as top in the UK for Business and Management, American Studies, Theatre Studies and Film Studies, 3rd in the UK for Sociology, 4th for Classics, Mathematics and Economics and 5th for English.
