A new exclusive web based business network for the west Midlands, developed by Warwick Manufacturing Group with the CBI, will be launched in London on Thursday 25th May during the evening reception at the Hilton London St Ermin's Hotel. This will be followed by regional presentations.

The address for the site will be www.go4gain.co.uk and can be viewed immediately after the launch.

The web site is a business directory, which is publicly available, but for each company that registers their details in the directory, they obtain access into an exclusive members (private area) which offers:

• Library of On-line Business Resource
• Map of Regional Business Support.
• Events Diary and online booking.
• Business Forum - Tutorials, discussions and on-line learning.
• E-Commerce. Buying, selling and operating using Internet technologies.

go4gain will be a regional portal for the world to gain access to West Midlands businesses and to promote the diversity and extent of its companies. It will have a search capability to find individual companies - by name and activity - and for groups of companies in particular industrial sectors and supply chains. This will significantly enhance their world-wide exposure and complement company's own web sites. It is funded from sponsorship from leading companies in the region and from the European Regional Development Fund.
