Tim Brighouse to defend Role of LEAs in free public lecture at University of Warwick

Professor Tim Brighouse, Chief Education Officer of Birmingham (the biggest local Education Authority in Europe), is to defend the role of LEAs as "an essential support system for schools and teachers" in a free public lecture at the University of Warwick on Wednesday 7th November at 5.30pm in the Conference Room of the University's Arts Centre.

The lecture is the last in a series of three lectures on education mounted by the University entitled "Improving Education?". The previous two lectures were given by the Secretary of State for Education Estelle Morris and, Chris Woodhead. The lecture is free and all are welcome.
