Warwick Conferences, the conference arm of the University of Warwick, has had a double triumph at the Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards 2003 winning both the award for 'Best UK Management Training Centre' (For Scarman House) and 'Best Academic Venue' for the second year running. Warwick Conferences has now won the Best Academic Venue award nine times in 14 years.

Organised by Meetings and Incentive Travel Magazine, these prestigious awards bring the various sectors of the meeting industry together and reward excellence in service and product.

"These two honours have crowned what has undoubtedly been a momentous year for us," said Andrew Paine, Director of Warwick Conferences. "They certainly help to enhance our proud reputation for setting the pace within a competitive marketplace. The M&IT Awards are highly regarded throughout the meetings industry and they recognise the quality and excellence of our product and the standards achieved by our staff."

The Meetings and Incentive Travel Industry Awards ceremony, which is attended by more than 800 leading figures from the meetings industry, took place at the London Hilton on Park Lane on the eve of the International Confex Exhibition at Earls Court.
