The University of Warwick has moved up to 6th position in the annual Financial Times Table of top 100 UK universities published this weekend. The University was ranked 7th last year.

Once again Warwick is the highest ranked Midlands University in the table. The newspaper also ranked Warwick as 5th overall for the quality of its research and 4th overall for the quality of its teaching. It also declared Warwick to be the third most popular university in the UK in terms of number of applications to places.
