£5,000 Award for High Tech Mini Loudspeaker Company

Shibden Technologies Limited, a “spin out” company formed by University of Warwick researchers, founded by Professor Roger Green and Professor David Hutchins of the University of Warwick’s School of Engineering, has just been awarded the £5,000 second prize in the National UK Joint Research Council’s Business Plan competition.
The company's key new technology is a new method for synthesising audible sound from ultrasonic speakers, which offers the prospect of miniaturised hi-fi loudspeakers.
