Warwick Business School Rises Again in Worldwide Business School Rankings
Warwick Business School, part of the University of Warwick, has
jumped 17 places to 18th in the world in the influential Financial
Times Executive MBA (Master in Business Administration) rankings,
published on 1st November, making it 7th in Europe, and 4th in the
UK. The top 3 in the UK are all based in London, making WBS the top
UK business school outside the capital. WBS was placed 4th in
Europe for MBA students gaining the highest percentage increase in
salary after graduating. Only 75 business schools around the world
qualified to be ranked.
"This is great news, for both staff and all our students at WBS,"
said Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of WBS. "It is also great news
for our 14,000 former students working around the world - a
vindication for them that they studied at one of the best business
schools in the world.
"The ranking survey revealed that we have the highest number of MBA
students in the UK sponsored by their employers. This is an
indication of the value and benefits these sponsoring companies see
in the Warwick MBA" he continued.
Although this survey focussed on Executive MBAs, the Warwick MBA is
also delivered by full-time study on campus at WBS, and by distance
learning; all study modes are fully accredited. WBS's doctoral
programme is ranked third in the world and top in Europe and the
UK, its undergraduate degrees are in the top rank, and its
specialist masters programmes are regarded as amongst the highest
quality available.
