Unique Course Attracts Senior University Managers to Coventry From Across Globe

Senior University managers from four continents are taking part in a unique study programme at the University of Warwick examining Higher Education Leadership and Management issues from an international perspective.

The “Warwick International Programme for Leadership and Management in Higher Education” has attracted delegates from countries and regions including: Ghana, South Africa, Australia, Ireland, Japan, Poland , the West Indies, and Russia.

The intensive two week programme led by Jon Baldwin, (Registrar, University of Warwick) and Mike Shattock, (a Visiting Professor in London’s Institute of Education),  will cover a number of themes including: University Strategy, Governance, Leadership and Management, Financial management, Entrepreneurialism, Institutional Brand and Reputation Management, Operational Management Issues, and the application of new technologies and information support for decision-making.
