The University of Warwick has been named as one of the UK’s top ten universities by the Guardian 2019 University Guide.
Ranked 8th, the 2019 ranking extends Warwick’s record of consistently being placed in the UK’s top ten since the start of the University Guide.
The University Guide also names six departments in the subject rankings top five and a further 14 in the top ten – with History of Art ranked 1st.
The publication of the 2019 University Guide follows soon after the Times Higher Education named Warwick as one of the world’s top 20 Most International universities - ranked 19th overall and 7th in the UK.
Commenting on the news the University of Warwick’s Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stuart Croft, said:
“I’m delighted that our university has once more been named as one of the UK’s top ten by the Guardian’s University Guide.
“This remarkable achievement is welcome recognition of the Warwick community’s dedication to our university - and I thank them for all they contribute to our continued success.”
