Warwick Transatlantic Fellowships launched

The Humanities Research Centre has launched a new scheme aiming to deepen and broaden research links between the University of Warwick and universities in the US and the Caribbean.

The Centre is offering up to 10 Warwick Transatlantic Fellowships to University of Warwick doctoral students (not in their first year) and post-doctoral fellows who can make an excellent research case for spending a short period of time at a US university.

The fellowships will be worth £1,500 for 2012-13. Although administered by the Humanities Research Centre, they will be open to all departments in the university.

In addition, five Warwick Transatlantic Fellowships worth $2,000 will be available for US and Caribbean-based post-doctoral fellows who wish to spend a short period at the University of Warwick, working with a Warwick-based academic.

University of Warwick Humanities Research Centre Director Dr Tim Lockley said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the excellent research being done at Warwick to our North American colleagues."
