World University Rankings table declares ten subjects at Warwick to be in World top 50

The QS World University Rankings by Subject published today, Wednesday 29th April 2015, has declared 10 subjects at Warwick to be in the world’s top 50 and a total of 15 to be in the top 100. The ten Warwick subjects in the top 50 in the world are:

English Language & Literature 22nd

History 15th

Modern Languages 33rd

Mathematics 44th

Accounting & Finance 42nd

Business & Management Studies 26th

Economics & Econometrics 29th

Politics & International Studies 46th

Sociology 23rd

Statistics (& Operational Research) 43rd

Also in the top 100 for Warwick are Law, Psychology, Film and Television Studies (listed as Communication and Media ) and Philosophy.

This fifth edition of the QS World University Rankings by Subject evaluated 3,551 universities and analysed over 100 million citations attributions. The full details will be available later today (29th April) at: http://www.topuniversities.com/subject-rankings.
