Warwick, 7 miles from the University, is a medieval market town, home to many cafes, bars, restaurants and specialist shops. Warwick Castle is the most famous medieval castle in England, which has a wealth of events happening throughout the year.

Housing

The housing is a mix of old and new-build, with two large estates in the area, where reasonably priced properties can be found. At the higher end of the market you will find the medieval and Georgian properties situated in the town centre. Prices are generally on par with Leamington Spa and Kenilworth.

Schools

Warwick has a good selection of schools including, three senior (state) schools, and two private schools; Warwick School and Kings High (for girls).

Leisure

Leisure facilities include Warwick Racecourse, Warwick Boat club, with tennis and squash, situated on the River Avon with excellent views of the castle. There is a theatre situated in the Warwick School which is open to the public. Leamington Spa facilities there are within easy reach.
