This is the second print in a series given the title Alchera which refers to Australian aboriginal dreamtime, in which a man is able to share in the myths and traditions of his ancestors despite time and space. The series explores, fire, air, water and earth in which Tilson links the elements with autobiographical material from his life. Using Japanese paper, Tilson captures the spirit of the elements he is depicting in the floating shape in Air and the red/orange tint of the paper in Fire.
