Noel Dyrenforth studied painting and drawing and from 1962 worked in batik. In 1967 his work was shown in a mixed exhibition of batiks and ceramics at the Commonwealth Institute Gallery. In 1970, he had a solo exhibition at the Herbert Art Gallery, Coventry. His work is represented in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, and Bradford City Art Gallery.
