Data Centres & Comms Rooms Service Metrics

Measurement, monitoring and reporting of environmental parameters. (using Mutiny).
Number of service affecting incidents (using Help Desk).
Time to respond to service affecting incidents against agreed SLAs (using Help Desk).

Priority one calls (4 hours):
Attendance to site for all “critical” environmental, power and UPS faults. Resolution of fault may fall outside the SLA, dependant on nature of fault

Priority two calls (2 working days):
N/A

Priority three calls (5 working days):
New cabinet request including power and infrastructure, surveyed, quoted and costs sent back to customer.

Priority four calls (No specific time):
Upon receipt of cost code or authority to proceed, new cabinets including power and infrastructure, will be installed within agreed timescales with customer.

Average PUE figure for Argent Court Data Centre for the period 1st April to 30th April 2019 is:

The average PUE figure so far for 2019 is 1.33

The average PUE figure for 2018 was 1.43

The average PUE figure for 2017 was 1.44

The average PUE figure for 2016 was 1.47

The average PUE figure for 2015 was 1.51

The average PUE figure for 2014 was 1.59

The average PUE figure for 2013 was 1.66

PUE figures are efficiency benchmarks comparing the data center's infrastructure to your existing IT load. i.e. IT power load against total facility power load. The lower the figure the more efficient your data centre is running in theory.

Currently Argent Court is running at an efficiency rating of around 1.31 to 1.55.

As more IT equipment is installed into the data centre, this figure should fall and it is hoped that once fully populated, the PUE figure should average around 1.30 to 1.40.

The average PUE figure for 2016 was 1.15

The average PUE figure for 2017 was 1.17

The average PUE figure for 2018 was 1.16

Currently University House is running at an efficiency rating of around 1.17. As more IT equipment is installed into the data centre, this figure should fall and it is hoped that once fully populated, the PUE figure should average around 1.16
