Sitebuilder 2.231 was released on 24th May 2011. Highlights from this release include:

Links checking

It is now possible to get Sitebuilder to check links and images on your pages to check if any are broken, or are private where they shouldn't be. This tool allows you to run a check either on a single page or over a series of pages (within the same site) and will either show you the results immediately for small sets of pages, or run in the background and email you with the results.

Lecture captures in Sitebuilder

We are now supporting the lecture capture tool that is currently being trialled with the E-learning team at Warwick. This tool allows for capture of audio and Powerpoint presentations from lectures, and we have now integrated this tool into Sitebuilder to allow for these lectures to be embedded into a Sitebuilder page.

General improvements and fixes

• The display of the "permissions" column in the sub-pages and files tab of edit section has been made clearer
• Forwarding pages can now forward to pages on external servers - contact webteam at warwick dot ac dot uk if you'd like to have this
• Page stats for videos no longer include requests for the preview image in the same count
• Go suggestions can now be clicked on from the new external homepage again
• Password-protected pages now correctly maintain query parameters
