Change a page's column widths (old visual editor)
Note: this does not apply to pages edited using the Components Editor, where separation of content is achieved through layout blocks, so you can edit the entire page in the same place.
When using the old visual editor to edit a page that has a two-column layout, you can change the ratio between the column widths. You can also toggle between single- and two-column layouts.
Toggling between a single- and two-column layout has the same effect as the span right-hand side page property. If you select Single column layout, any existing right content is hidden. You can display this content again by changing the page to any two-column layout.
- Go to the page you want to edit.
- Go to Edit > Edit centre content or Edit right content.
- Select the Page layout button in the toolbar.
-
In the Page layout window, select your preferred column width ratio – full width, 75:25, 66:33, 50:50, 33:66 or 25:75:
- When you have finished editing, select Publish.
