Check page content for errors

SiteBuilder includes features to check your page or site for a variety of errors, including issues with links, images, and heading heirarchy.

We have a separate article detailing how to check for broken links.

  1. Go to the page you want to check for errors.

  2. Go to Edit > More:

The SiteBuilder 'Edit' menu, with the 'More' option highlighted

  3. On the Current page tab, select Check page content for errors in the the Manage content section:

The 'Current Page' tab, with the 'Check page content for errors' option highlighted

  4. The Page checks report shows tick for passed checks, letter i where you could improve the content and letter x for problems to correct:

  5. Investigate any issues, correct them, then run the check again. If you're unsure how to rectify any problems, contact the Web Team at webteam@warwick.ac.uk for support.
