Role: Kevin leads on supporting central ‘professional services’ departments, working with individuals, groups and teams to develop and enhance their effectiveness and capability. Kevin is a facilitator and coach on the Warwick Leadership Programme (WLP), is the programme manager for the Warwick Administrative Management Programme (WAMP) and takes the lead on providing a programme of support for new Academic Heads of Department and senior colleagues in professional services.

Role: Sandra is responsible for working with individuals and groups to develop and enhance their Personal Effectiveness, Management and Leadership Development Skills and leads on support to the Faculties of Arts and Humanities and Social Sciences. Sandra is the programme Manager for the Warwick Leadership Programme in addition to managing the Warwick Coaching & Mentoring Scheme and Career Mentoring Network, aimed at supporting staff in their career development.

Role: Lisa currently has responsibility for the implementation of the new Learning Management System (LMS), part of HR's SuccessFactors. Lisa also leads on the development of online/blended-learning activities to enable staff to engage more flexibly in the training offered by LDC.

Sandy Sparks Sandy Sparks

Role: Sandy leads the L&D provision for Research Active Staff (ie staff on research focused, teaching focused or research & teaching contracts as well as visiting academics) to enhance their capabilities, effectiveness and employability. Sandy is responsible for the commissioning, designing and delivering of workshops, interventions and Research Active Staff (RAS) L&D provision https://warwick.ac.uk/services/ldc/researchers/ . Sandy provides high quality information to research active staff, and supports in building a research active community by offering bespoke learning and development support to research active staff, their departments and faculty. Sandy also provides management and development of individual or collaborative L&D initiatives. The RAS provision’s thematic areas include: Leadership Development, Career development & support, Skills including Academic Writing, Enterprise & Entrepreneurship and Research Impact. She is a coach on the Warwick Leadership Programme, as well as being a Dignity contact. She is also involved in facilitation & bespoke L&D for RAS programmes. Sandy also leads on the University of Warwick’s Unconscious Bias training and the Staff Mediation Scheme.
