Assessment and Feedback Strategies

"Assessment is a critical feature of the student’s educational experience. The University aims to ensure that assessment mechanisms used allow students to demonstrate the skills and knowledge they have acquired" Teaching Quality Unit, University of Warwick.

This workshop offers an exploration of assessment in Higher Education. By the end of the session you will:

  • be able to describe the key features to consider when designing assessment
  • have evaluated a range of strategies for use within your own context
  • be able to identify the key feature of for giving students effective feedback
