Big Band

Warwick Big Band is a non-auditioned band which rehearses every week and runs socials throughout the academic year. We are a friendly group of musicians who love making music and willing to accept instrumentalists all year round.

Musicians
Musicians in Big Band play a range of brass, wind and rhythm instruments including trumpet, trombone, saxophone, guitars, drums and keyboard. We are unauditioned and focus on producing great sounding music with lots of energy in a range of styles from jazz, classical big band music and modern pop classics – we really do play it all.

Concerts/Gigs

The band plays at a variety of different venues and occasions, both big and small, such as gigs at the local pub, university society balls, Real Ale Festival, Kasbah Nightclub along with recent performances on termly tours. Our performances have people singing along, having a great time with a number of different songs to fill any occasion and venue.
