ONE Global Songbook

We need YOUR help to create the Warwick Global Songbook, a collection of 50 songs from 50 different countries around the world, as represented by University of Warwick students, staff and alumni. We are looking for traditional and folksongs from wherever you're from.

Ensembles from the University of Warwick will be performing pieces from our Songbook over the next year as part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebrations. There are opportunities for everyone to get involved, but you don't have to be able to sing to help us out; we love YouTube clips too! We will also be creating and publishing a Songbook for Community Choirs, which will include your songs, as well as information about their origins.

If you know a traditional or folk song from your home country, please get in touch and tell us about your song. Better still, why not send us a video or audio recording of it? Then we’ll be able to arrange it, and before you know it, people from the University of Warwick and all around the world will be able to sing it!
