Student cards

All new students receive cards at the start of the academic year. When and where you collect your University card depends on your course start date and whether you are living on or off campus. Please refer to the Academic Office's information on card collection and the enrolment process.

You can use different photos for your card and your online profile. You can change these photos at any time. Your updated card photo will be used when you have a new card printed. Your updated online photo will appear in various administration systems within 24-48 hours.

If you have a query or require a replacement card during term time or a vacation period, please visit the Academic Office reception in University House or the Senate House reception. Opening hours are:

University House reception

During term and vacation:
Monday-Friday, 10am-3pm

Senate House reception

During term:
Monday-Friday, 8am-8pm
Saturday-Sunday, 10am-6pm

During vacation:
Monday-Sunday, 7am-11pm

If you are a distance-learning or part-time student, and are not often on the Warwick campus, please contact your department.

IT Accounts

All students are automatically allocated an IT account and a @warwick.ac.uk email alias. If you have not yet registered yours please visit the IT Services registration page to get started

Accounts may be accessed once you have enrolled and are available for the length of your course. You may access your email for up to 12 months after your course end date but some services (such as accessing library e-journals, logging in in workareas etc) will be limited during this extended time. Your email address and content cannot be retained after you leave (even if you move to another role at the university) so please ensure that you have everything you need in time.
