Calling all maths specialists!
Are you passionate about training others and do you have the drive and commitment to make a difference to maths teaching in the FE sector or do you know someone who is?
The National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics (NCETM) are recruiting and training the first cohorts of Professional Development Maths leads (PDs) now!
- Training is FREE
- Training equips you to deliver the maths GCSE Enhancement Programme for your own organisation and others
- You/your organisation will be paid to deliver the programme to other providers
What is expected from you?
You need to be an experienced maths teacher who has the skills/experience to train other teachers. You need the support of your college/organisation to be released to attend and deliver training within the West Midlands Region. You need to be available to attend the training programme in either London or Birmingham in late October 2013.
