CARIBBEAN FAMILY HISTORY RESEARCH: Birth, Marriage and Death/Burial records (BMDs) can be accessed in the Family History Centres across Britain and on the internet via https://www.familysearch.org/ There are many genealogical records attached to non-obvious articles other than BMD records, such as the Slavery Compensation registers, held at The National Archives, in Kew. See www.jamaicanfamilysearch.com for information and data on Jamaican family history.

Photographs:The Hidden Histories Exhibition at Bournemouth University shows June Shearing, an expert genealogist and myself helping visitors with family history queries.
