Profile

I am a clinical skills and resuscitation tutor at George Eliot Hospital (GEH) NHS Trust and a part-time PhD student at Warwick University within the Medical School (WMS).

My background is in nursing, research, education, clinical skills and resuscitation.

I currently teach clinical skills and resuscitation to medical students from WMS and healthcare professionals from GEH.

My research interests include psychomotor skills teaching, technology enhanced learning, blended learning, simulation, e-learning, gaming and the use of virtual patients.

I am currently exploring what the blend should be for teaching clinical skills and resuscitation skills to healthcare students and professionals.

I am very interested in research ethics and sit as an expert member on a local research ethics committee.

I am involved in a number of e-learning forums and focus groups with local providers and a regional clinical skills tutor group.
