Module Syllabi

The Warwick International Foundation Programme (Warwick IFP) comprises distinct academic courses designed to enable progression to a wide range of undergraduate programmes at Warwick and other UK institutions. The 10 pathways offered provide the opportunity for greater specialisation and content that is tailored to each discipline area.

Students are taught through the medium of tutorials, seminars and lectures, and encouraged to develop independent learning strategies and critical thinking skills.

Below you will find links to our module catalogue, which contains full details of the modules available to students on each course. Every student will study between 4-6 academic modules (some full year, some part year) to include Inquiry and Research Skills and an English for Academic Purposes (EAP) module, both tailored and relevant to their individual pathway.

2023-24 update

  • Our programme structure remains the same as 2022-23 academic year. A reminder of the main changes from last year in 2022-23 were that in Law IFP (formerly, Law and Politics IFP), where there were changes to the modules on this course (Constitutional Law module had been replaced with the alternative Contractual and Tort Law. The Engineering IFP was renamed 'Physics and Engineering' - there was no change to the module structure.
  • Our students commence their studies on 25th September with 1 week of Welcome and Induction activities in the previous week.
  • We will continue to deliver our programme face to face, on-campus
