How did you find out about Warwick?

I heard about Warwick through my friends that had studied in the UK.

Did you consider studying anywhere else? What made you choose Warwick?

The correspondence I had with Warwick prior to firming a university on UCAS was so welcoming; I was sure I'd feel very much at home here.

How did you feel to be awarded a scholarship?

The shock I felt when I opened the scholarship email was overwhelming! It is due to the scholarship that I am even able to attend university.

Who was the first person you told when you received the news about your scholarship and how did they react?

I told my mother of the scholarship first and burst into tears! Happy tears!

How did you apply and did anyone help you with your application form and visa application?

I applied for the university, scholarship and visa online so it was a relatively simple process; though I did contact the university for assistance from time to time.

What was your first impression of Warwick when you first walked around campus?

From the minute I arrived at Senate House to get my key I was helped by a second year and another fresher. They went on to cook me dinner that night and make me feel very much at home.

What is the best thing about Warwick?

I particularly love my GSD economics module! I longingly wait for Tuesdays just because of that seminar!

What is the worst thing about Warwick?

The walk to Cannon Park is quite long from my accommodation and the prices of food on campus is a bit costly but it's bearable!

How is your accommodation?

My room is massive! Well worth the rent!

What would you say to someone considering applying for an Undergraduate Global Excellence scholarship at Warwick, what would it be?

Be confident when writing your essays and most importantly write honestly!
