Pathways to Law Year 12 Work Experience Prep Event

This event will give Pathways to Law students the opportunity to work through employability skills such as CV advice, email communication, what to expect from Assessment Centres, how to apply for Work Experience and a whole host of other skills, as well as the opportunity to network.

Experience Warwick Year 9 Taster Day

An opportunity for students to experience university, take part in an academic session, meet current students, go on a campus tour and work with other students from schools in Coventry and Warwickshire. The day aims to give a light introduction to University whilst being interesting and engaging.

School Warwick Visit (Post-16)

A School Warwick Visit is aimed at Year 11 to Year 13 pupils and is intended to give a snapshot of the Open Day experience. Each visit enables your students to:

  • Hear from the Recruitment Team and gain insight into what Warwick has to offer both academically and socially through a short presentation and Q&A
  • See our campus through a guided campus tour from a student ambassador
  • Find out about our student support services through our mini exhibition of key services available to students across campus

Pathways to Banking and Finance Year 12 PwC Assessment Day

During the Assessment and Coaching Day you'll have an introductions to PwC and what they do as an organisation, an overview of their work placements opportunities, discussions on employability skills, advice on applications forms. It will set you up for any work experience application but is perfect if you are looking to work for PwC at some point.

UniTracks Year 10 Project Launches

Runs from Friday, January 18 to Saturday, January 19.

Today will be the launch event for your projects, this year we wil be offering "Shooting the Past" but also a new exciting project! You'll meet your mentors and be given some of the skills, collect your data or resources ready to take your project home to work with your school. This is a 2 day residential so you'll even have the opportunity to stay on campus in student accomodation and enjoy a set of evening activities.

RSA8 Day

The RSA8 Programme is a programme for year 8 students from RSA Academies in the West Midlands. Throughout the year, each school hosts a session for a different leadership skill element of the programme. Students then attend a day at Warwick University to put together a social action project that will have an impact on their own school community. During the day you'll spend time working with your group on your social project, but you'll also get the opportunity for Q&A with university students and have a go at a society taster session.

Realising Opportunities and UniTracks Research Workshop

Runs from Wednesday, February 20 to Thursday, February 21.

During these 2 days you'll learn about techniques for note-taking and references, you'll be working on your own project under supervision from your tutor. We'll work with you on presentation development and presentation skills, before delivering a presentation on your project. All food will be provided and these days will give you an amazing chance to develop your own research skills.

A cross-programme event for all of our Year 13 students. We'll have a key note speaker and talks about how you can transition to university life. Afternoon tea will be provided and you'll have a chance to chat to a Q&A panel from student finance and university students to answer any questions you might have. There will also be a student societies taster. This is a great way to celebrate and complete your programmes with University of Warwick.
