The Realising Opportunities Programme is seeking twenty motivated Warwick students to provide support to its activity throughout 2022/23. We are offering on campus and online activities to support teachers and post-16 students on our access programme.

Realising Opportunities (RO) is an innovative, national programme for Year 12 and 13 students involving some of the country’s leading research intensive universities. Students are recruited from backgrounds currently under-represented in higher education. They follow a programme of activity and guidance through their post-16 studies to develop their skills to be successful at university.

“I remember how hard I found applying to university when I was in sixth form and I felt this was a great way to help ease that transition for others. I am also passionate about my course, my university and higher education in general and I wanted to pass this on while being informative and helpful for people. My written communication skills have improved so much as well as the way that I think about things when communicating to others as well. I have also met a lot of amazing people.”
