Roof Hazard Reports

Welcome to the University of Warwick Estates Roof Hazard Identification Reports page.

These reports are provided as a record of our inspection of access routes and identification of hazards in accessing and being on the flat roof sections of our campus buildings. Site specific risk assessments for access to the work area and the work to be undertaken are the responsibility of those undertaking the work. These reports are not risk assessments; they are intended to provide a helpful guide to identify known hazards associated with accessing and attendance on the roof.

The lists of hazards are not exhaustive and are not a substitute for anyone undertaking their own risk assessment. Contractors are expected to comply with current Health and Safety Legislation and to have met all other requirements of the University in working on Campus (read and signed the Code of Conduct for Contractors, watched the University Code of Conduct video, received a local induction etc.) under separate cover.

This is a ‘work in progress’ and as such we would welcome your feedback on the contents of the reports and any updates you may be able to provide to keep the reports current.
